Feature Plans

Colibri is still in it’s formation phase. Below a list of envisioned features can be found. During development these can be changed or extended. The community will be able to influence them throughout the entire process. As a first step, currently a survey is carried out. A forum, additional polls and social media will follow and accompany this startup.

  • Automated analysis

    Artificial intelligence generates keywords directly on the local computer.

  • Minimalistic user interface

    A clean, uncluttered user interface makes Colibri easy to use for everyone.

  • Comprehensive search

    A modern search engine integrates a full-text search for keywords, audio transcripts and texts, as well as a similarity search for images and videos.

  • Separation of original material and metadata

    Colibri creates preview files and metadata and remembers where the original data is located.

  • Planning and connecting

    Similar to an analog pinboard, the user interface allows different media to be grouped together and linked.

  • Privacy

    Colibri does not rely on cloud or online services. All data is stored and processed locally and can be encrypted.
